This weekend we took a family trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific with some friends. The AoP is in Long Beach. Here is a photo of Daddy and Wesley in front of the Long Beach light house:
I adore the new green and white kickers from grandma, first of all; my advice to Jim is to WATCH OUT - those suckers are gonna hurt in the worst way, in the worst place(s). LoL (kinda) - it's always funny until someone gets hurt...unless, of course, it's someone else getting hurt. Hehehe. Wow, he is almost on the move...how are you going to stop him then, huh? I bet if you try, Xena will teach him all of her tricks. I feel a little...nah - it's going to be funny; I'll be the b**** friend who laughs until she tears up when you get exasperated with the two of them because it seems they team up against you. Hey, you knew The Beast was going to try to take you down! Now she has a cohort for her crimes. There will be things for which you'll never know 'who done it' now...
So incredible that he is sitting by himself and is almost crawling! I'm sure in a few months you'll wish he would just stay where you put him, but he's going to be like Superman in his new sneakers - fast and unstoppable. All you can do is cover the edges and corners of furniture and let him go. My impression is that he'll be the adventurous sort (especially with Xena as a guide.)
Oh, I bet Wes understood what was going on for Christmas; he learned that all the bright shiny packages had bright shiny or soft squeezy things in them, and that most of them were for HIM! Good luck pulling the self-control reins in on him next year. So not gonna happen. :-)
And, last, but not least, one of my favorite places...the Aquarium of the Pacific. I am so happy he has finally visited the home of Chunk, my stingray missing, yes, a 'chunk' of his little stingray wing. It will be so much fun to show Wes off and introduce the two of them once Wes is a bit bigger. Rob just stares at the fish much like Wes - with almost the same expression...and they're almost three decades apart! Amazing.
Yaaaaaay! New updates - and LOTS of 'em!
