Partners in Crime

Xena has not been a big fan of Wesley since he arrived home from the hospital almost 10 months ago. It looks like they might be starting to bond, however. Wesley has discovered Xena's doggie door:

Xena is keeping a look out:

Wesley is petting her in appreciation:

Allergies??

Jim tried feeding Wesley eggs for the first time today. Wesley did not eat them - even pushed them away. Within a half an hour, he vomited and began rubbing his eyes. This is what he looked like.

It cleared up within an hour. I hope it was not a food allery! Poor guy!

Buh-Bye Ba-Ba!

We have been starting to transition Wesley from a bottle over the last few weeks, with mixed success. He was not a big fan of the sippy cup.

The juice box with straw seems to be a hit though:

Maybe we will be able to say bye-bye to the bottle soon?

Tunnel!

A few weeks ago at our Baby Group class the leader brought out a toy that Wesley and all of his little friends loved, so I decided to order Wesley one of his very own. It arrived in the mail this week, and boy was I excited! Check it out:

Wesley must have been excited too, as he wasted no time:

Look how determined he is!

I am so glad he likes it as much as I do!

PJs

I just thought this picture of Wesley crawling around in his pajamas was adorable, so I thought I would share!

Biscuits!

Wesley is trying new foods all the time. This week, daddy bought him "Biter Biscuits" for the first time.

He loves them!

And like with most other foods -- they sure are messy!

Spring!

Now that the weather is getting nicer, we are starting to do more outdoor things. Here is Wesley playing in the grass at a friend's birthday party. He really had a blast!

Nosey!!

Wesley is now pulling himself up regularly.

And he is into EVERYTHING!

Think I could get him to help with the laundry??

Probably, since he is still mesmerized by the washing machine:

Here Comes Trouble

Wesley has recently gone from the "commando crawl" (elbows and knees) to all fours.

He is really getting around:

As you can see, he really likes his new found mobility:

As you can also see, he has not gotten any neater when eating - that is blueberry puree by his right eyebrow!

9 months

We continued our tradition of having Wesley's portrait taken every three months. I cannot believe how much he has changed and grown since December - in the past three months has has begun sitting, crawling and pulling up on his own! Of course, that made today's session quite a challenge. Here is a sample of today's photo shoot:

Swings!!!

Today I took Wesley to the park for his first ride on the swings. He was not sure what to make of it.

He did give me a few giggles though!

Ta da!!

This is what Jim and I woke up to last Saturday morning:

Almost there ...
