First Big Kid Party

Wesley went to his first "Big Kid" birthday party this weekend.



Lucky for him, his first one was a good one -- it was on the Santa Monica Pier!

Mr. Fix It

Wesley has been infatuated with daddy's tools lately. This weekend, we bought him is own set. He loves them!

Surprise!

We threw a surprise 40th birthday party for Jim while Gummy and Aunt Kate were here. The party was a surprise and a success!

This weekend we got a surprise visit from Gummy and Aunt Kate for daddy's 40th birthday. Here is Wesley (and Xena) helping daddy prepare Aunt Kate's bed.

During their visit, we made a trip to the zoo.

Neighborhood Excitement!

We are getting new curbs in our neighborhood. Wesley's dream came true -- they parked a combo scoop/bulldozer right around the corner from our house!

Autumn/Winter Exercise

With the shorter days of autumn and winter fast approaching. I was in search of a new after-work activity to replace the park. I found it!

Happy Labor Day!

This year we spent Labor Day on the beach at a barbeque with friends.


Wesley loved it! He even flew a kite!!

Wesley's new best friend is "Bear". Wesley dresses him in the morning and puts pajamas on him every night.
