Sneaky!

This weekend, while mommy was folding laundry, Wesley (and Xena) decided to get involved:

With Wesley's first birthday fast approaching, he has acquired some new skills. While he is not walking completely on his own yet, he can walk holding someone's hands and he can cruise along furniture. Here he is cruising from one end of the couch to the other ~



























Oh, and I forgot to mention, he has also learned how to take all of the pillows off of the couch and throw them on the floor!

Wesley's Latest Obsession

As Wesley has gotten older, he has become less of a fan of his play yard. Here is a recent photo of him it it. Can you see the joy?

Taking after Xena?

Wesley may be spending too much time with Xena these days.

If I'd let him, he would crawl inside, I'm sure of it.

He can only walk if he is holding someone's hands, which does not allow him to carry anything. Crawling does not let him use his hands to carry anything, either. So he decided to imitate Xena and use his mouth. I sure hope he grows out of it soon!

Party Time!

All of the babies in our Baby Group class will turn one within about a month of each other. We thought it would be a cute idea to have a group first birthday party for all of them. There was even an entertainer. Here are photos of Wesley and his friends enjoying the party:

Mommy's Closet

Wesley and his piggy frequently participate in cage fighting matches. Sometimes piggy gets the better of Wesley, but today Wesley definitely won the match.
